The cemetery has about 57 known graves related to the Titanic, and until this day new graves are being dicovered. The Cemetery has been known by different names over the years including,The Cemetery by the Common, Hill Lane Cemetery and it's known as Southampton Common Cemetery.

It was so good to finally see the grave that remembers my G.G Uncle George Henry Chitty & my distant cousin Archibald... and to my surprise I was able to see another name of the gravestone ~ that of Harold who died aged 22 months.

I've been looking for my G.G Aunt Juliette who died in 1909, long before her husband & son joined the Titanic crew ~ also their other child who died Eliza May, who died in 1899 I think, aged about 9 ?
